Jesus called a little child to Him and stood the child in front of his followers. He taught them that they must become like children, with child-like faith, before they could enter His Kingdom. And then He gave them a warning, “Be careful. Don’t think these little children are worth nothing. I tell you that they have angels in heaven who are always with my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:10, (NCV). Children have angels. Jesus said so. So, do we think that at a certain age “our” angel is reassigned or something?
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 (NIV). We are a higher rank than the angels and they are here to serve us. And not only to serve, but to protect. “Nothing bad will happen to you; no disaster will come to your home. He has put his angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.” Psalms 91:10-12, (NCV). Comforting isn’t it? But we have to do something: “The Lord is your protection; YOU have made God Most High your place of safety”. (v. 9). Have you done that yet?
Angels? Yours is here! Do any of you have a story about “your” angel protecting you?

Am blessed by the expounding of this message on angels. I always wondered whether adults angels stand before God and thought that our sins make our angels not to have access before God, but that was wrong thinking. Now I understand better that am in the company of my angels as long as I dwell in the Secret place of the Most High.
