Special Called Meeting

Given September 2016 

Memo:  There will be a called meeting for all Christians today in the main sanctuary.

“Ok, this meeting is called to order; all you Jesus people listen up.”  “We’ve called you all together today because we have an announcement from the Boss about our operations here that He wanted to remind you of.”  “The Boss knows that many of you have concerns about the way things are going in our organization and He wanted to go over our policy again.”  “There are some things the Boss will do but there are also requirements from you all as well in order for this thing to run smoothly.”  “So, listen up!”

First of all, these are the things you, the people, are required to do.”

1. “Humble yourself.”  “Stop thinking you’re all that and admit you need help.”
2. “Pray.” “It’s as simple as that.”  “Talk to the Boss, you don’t need an appointment, He’s available at any time.”
3. “Seek His face.” “Don’t go to Him all the time with what you want Him to give you, just go spend time with Him.”  “He wants you to do that.”
4. “And finally, turn from you wicked ways!” “You know what I mean and if you don’t, go back and read the manual.”

“Now, if you all will do these things the Boss requires of you, then He will respond with the following:”

1. “First, He will hear you, He’ll listen.” “As I said, He’s always available.”
2. “Second, He will forgive your sin; those ‘wicked ways’ He mentioned earlier.”
3. “And finally, the Boss will take care of the problem you all are concerned about; He will heal your land.”

“Now, do you understand this policy?”  “Are there any questions?”  “OK then, let’s all go out and do our part and trust, believe and know that the Boss will do His part and our organization will thrive.”  “This meeting is adjourned.”

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
