“I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
Have you ever felt like you were all alone, no one to help you, you didn’t know what to do? Yes, we all have. But, if you’re a Christian, there is someOne who is always there.
God is beside you. “I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” (Psalms 16:8).
God goes before you. “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you;” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
God is behind you. “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” (Isaiah 30:21).
God is below us. From the hymn, “My Hope is Built on Nothing Less”, “On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand:”
God is above you. “The one who comes from above is above all;” (John 3:31).
And, most of all, God is IN you. “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,” (1 Corinthians 6:19).
How encouraging to know that, as Christians, God is always near us, always there to fight for us, to direct us, to deliver us, to meet our needs. He is here. Whatever you may be going through today, please know that God is there for you. Cry out to Him, feel His presence, know that He loves you and wants the best for you. So what happens when we wander away? Like a kid on a path with their dad but wanders off to look at something tempting, Father God goes with them and is right there when they get scared. All they have to do is cry out, “Daddy, help me!”
God is always near, just call out to Him.
