I was riding along in my Silverado on this fine day and was declaring some encouraging scriptures which I often do for edification. I was saying, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4). “If God is for me, who can be against me?” (Romans 8:31). Then I thought, “Wait a minute…there ARE people against me. What about that?” Immediately verses came into my mind, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.” (Isaiah 54:17), and “The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.” (Deuteronomy 28:7), and “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7), and “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you,” (2 Chronicles 20:17).
I was encouraged and comforted that as long as I trust in the Lord, no matter what happens or how things look, I WIN! You win too.
