“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)
I read a book by Pastor Mark Batterson last year called, “The Circle Maker” telling of the legend of Honi, the Circle Maker, a man bold enough to draw a circle in the sand and not budge from inside it until God answered his prayers for his people. I began “circling” my family in my prayers as part of my morning devotion ever since. I created the graphic above and inserted family names inside.
However, recently, I noticed something about the image. The 3rd, 4th and 5th letters of prayer are, “AYE”. I have served on boards where, when a vote was taken, the chairman would say, “All in favor say aye.”, which means you are in favor of the motion presented. Then, the verse above came to my mind about all God’s promises. That was and is very comforting and reassuring for the names I have inside my circle. It’s like God was saying, “I hear your prayers for your family and My promises for them are YES and AMEN!” Thank You God!
Begin “circling” your prayer needs with your voice in prayer or actually by walking around something while you pray. I just love these little tidbits God gives. #Godisincontrol
And, I highly recommend The Circle Maker book.
