“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
As I observe God’s creation around me, He has given me some insights to His plans represented in these photos.
“But for me it is good to be near God;” (Psalm 73:28). We need to be near to God because He provides us with what we need. You see this tree in the first image and the leaves, that are near to the roots that provide what they need, are still holding on. Those far away from the “roots” are gone. We need to stay close to God.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1). I have two large Catalpa, or Bean Trees as we call them because of the bean-shaped fruit they bear, in my front yard that have already shed their large leaves. However, this baby Bean Tree still has its leaves because it dwells under a larger plant that “shelters” it. We need to be under the shelter of the Most High.
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image,” (Genesis 1:26). The third photo shows the “image” of a fallen leaf. The leaf had fallen from the tree that gave it life but its time was over. But it fell to the ground, was blown away by the wind of life and it left an image, an impact for others to see. Think about what “image” we are leaving for our family and others as we move on to Heaven.
