God Is With Us

“I will make them strong in the LORD, and they shall walk in his name,” declares the LORD.” (Zechariah 10:12 ESV).

I have many visions about the Path of Life. We are all walking on the Path of Life. However, many times, we can get off the Path and wander into a dark forest at the temptations of the enemy. But, if we are saved, the Bible says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8), and other verses. God is with us. I got an idea once of a child who wandered off the path to check out something that looked good but, after awhile, they realized they were lost and were scared. However, God was right there with them and said, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here. Now, let’s get back on the Path.” We are tempted, almost daily, to get off the Path. But, God is with us.

Referring to the verse up top, I also was reminded of several verses about walking in God’s name. The Bible says He will go before us, “It is the Lord who goes before you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8). God will be behind us, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21). He will be on our right, “The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; (Psalm 121:5). “I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10). (So, He’s on our left.) He is the Rock underneath us. “The Lord is my solid rock,” (Psalm 18:2). And, of course, He is above us in Heaven. “Our God is in heaven;” (Psalm 115:3).

So, no matter where we are, what we’re doing or what trouble we’re in, God is with us. Thank Him.
